1st Reconciliation /1st Communion Information
Children who are in 2nd grade or older, have been Baptized and have 2 years (the previous & the current year) of Religious instruction are eligible to receive these sacraments.
Mandatory Parent only meetings are designed to empower the parents with the confidence & knowledge to teach their children in their homes about these sacraments. All materials must be completed before the Parent/child meetings. The Parent/child meeting are designed to answer the children's and Parent's questions about the sacrament and reinforce the materials done at home through various activities.

Confirmation 2013
All current 7th & 8th grade students (school year 2011/12), who meet eligibility requirements and complete the Parish's Confirmation program, may celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation in the spring of 2013. To be considered eligible, a student should be currently enrolled in a Religious Education program or attend a catholic school. Students must be Baptized and have celebrated 1st Communion.
Registration meetings will be held in Holy Angels Church at 7:00pm on the following dates: June 10, July 15, August 12 or October 28. Parent and candidate MUST ATTEND.
Information about our Parish program will be available at registration meetings: forms, books and a tentative calendar. We will need a copy of your child's Baptismal certificate, a program fee of $100, and a Sponsor Certificate. If your child attended Holy Angels School or was baptized here at St. John - Holy Angels Parish we should have a record of their baptism, if we do not we will contact you. More detail about confirmation will be given at the meetings.
