Knights of Columbus - Holy Angels

Council #12104

Holy Angels Council Knights of Columbus Christmas Party & 20th Anniversary Celebration
On November 25th, 1997,  Holy Angels Council 12104 was formed.  During these past 20 years our Council has grown from our 51 original to 114 current members! Our mission continues to be to "Be the “go-to” service organization in our parish by growing our charitable outreach and providing social and individual development opportunities for Catholic men."

We will will celebrate our 20th Anniversary during our Council Christmas Party on December 19th from 6:30 to 9:30 pm at Catherine Rooney's in Newark.   We hope all past, present & prospective Holy Angels Knights and spouses will join us.   Price is $10 per person.   Please RSVP to Joe Colosi (josephcolosi@yahoo.com) or 302 239-7709 by December 15.

The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization whose first pillar is charity: charity of action and charity of giving.  The Knights perform acts of charity to support 5 ministries: church, community, right-to-life, family, and youth.

Holy Angels Council #12104 was chartered in 1997 by a group of men determined to make a difference at St. John - Holy Angels Parish and its community.  Since then, our council has grown steadily to over 100 members.  We meet at 7:00 PM on the first and third Tuesdays of the month in the Athletic Building.  Meetings usually end by 9 PM with time to socialize with fellow Knights.  The first Tuesday meeting typically begins with an informal dinner with business part of meeting commencing around 7:30 pm.  Our meetings are small enough to be friendly and informal, yet large enough to provide activities to satisfy members of any age or interest.

No time to attend meetings?  You can still be active in the Knights by participating in church, community, right-to-life, family, youth, and council activities. . Many of our Knights are not able to attend regular meetings, but do help out with one or two programs a year.  Some programs are just an hour or two.  Your time is your gift, and whatever time you are able to provide will be appreciated.

Consider joining the Knights as a way to formalize the acts of charity that you may already be giving, or as a way to discover how you can make a difference in people's lives in our community and parish.  All that is required is to have a sense of humanity, compassion, and a desire to love your neighbor as yourself.

Best, as well as the IMSA designation.  Insurance through the order is strictly voluntary.
